Owning Manhattan star Jess Emily Taylor has spoken out about tensions between the cast of the new Netflix show, revealing “jealousy and insecurity” were bubbling up behind the scenes.
Serhant’s agent, 35, spoke candidly about a breakup behind the scenes in a video posted to her TikTok earlier this week, in which she recalled how “incredibly stressful” the experience had been.
Aside from not having a budget for clothes and being unsure of how to act on camera, Jess let slip that one of the biggest struggles was not letting the other agents get to her.
“There are a lot of cast members and that brings with it a lot of… I would say jealousy and insecurity,” she said.
“People were constantly asking me how much I was filming and what I was doing. I did this, I did that. I did this with Ryan. I’ve been there 10 times today.

The 35-year-old agent spoke candidly about a behind-the-scenes breakup in a video posted to her TikTok.
“And just trying to ignore all the noise and stay in my lane… frankly, I didn’t let it affect me, but I could see that it might bother some people.”
Jess, who did not name any of her co-stars by name, added: “I had to really go above and beyond and say I was filming what I was filming, who knows how this is going to be edited, but I’m just going to do the best I can and we’ll see how it turns out.”
DailyMail.com previously reported that tensions behind the scenes had reached boiling point off-camera, with Jonathan Nørmølle, Jade Shenker and Chloe Tucker Caine among cast members embroiled in bitter feuds.
Following the season’s release on Netflix on June 28, Jonathan, 27, made it clear he has no regrets for his actions on the series, which saw him fired by Ryan, 40, in the final episode.
He also claimed that he had deliberately prepared to get fired so that he could terminate his contract.
Knowledgeable sources recently told DailyMail.com that many of the agents had concerns about Jonathan joining Serhant in the first place.
“Not only was his conduct with others a cause for concern, but some believe he had inflated his level of experience before joining the company,” one source said.
Separately, a second source revealed that Jonathan retaliated against Jade’s recent claim that he’s “fake” by telling everyone that she wasn’t even supposed to star on the show.
Jess said there was a lot of ‘jealousy and insecurity’ from her co-stars behind the scenes.
He admitted that he sometimes found it difficult to ignore the “noise” of the other officers.
“He keeps reminding everyone that Jade wasn’t even part of the original cast,” a second source revealed. “There was another agent who ended up dropping out and that’s when Jade joined the show.
‘Jonathan thinks she just wants her 15 minutes of fame and believes she hasn’t even made as many real estate sales as she claims.’
Meanwhile, Chloe slammed Jade on Instagram after the latter revealed to DailyMail.com that she had blocked her co-star for allegedly trolling her on TikTok.
“You watched five minutes of something that’s been going on for months,” the new mom fumed in a reaction video posted to Instagram. “And you think I’m suspicious?”
Chloe then posted screenshots of the pair’s recent phone calls and responded: “Really? Aren’t we close friends at this point? This is how many times we’ve spoken in the last 48 hours alone…”
“Fool me once, shame on me. Fool me twice, shame on me?” (I don’t remember the end of this saying, but you get the idea.) I’VE ALWAYS BEEN HUNGRY FOR FAME.”
The successful broker went on to claim that she was the one who introduced Jade to the person who helped her secure a $42 million building that helped her become Serhant’s agent.
Jess didn’t mention which of her Owning Manhattan castmates she was referring to.

Chloe Tucker Caine recently took to Instagram to publicly express her anger after Jade Shenker accused her of being a troll on TikTok.
Jade quickly responded with a series of rebuttals on her Instagram Stories, while also leaving comments directly beneath Chloe’s posts as she appeared unfazed by her estranged friend’s claims.
Chloe later found herself embroiled in an online feud with another former employee.
Former assistant Lindsey Welch had been a source of conflict for Chloe and fellow agent Jordan March, after the latter hired the assistant shortly after Chloe decided to split from her.
The issue led to a heated conversation between Chloe and Jordan in the second episode of the series before they later resolved the conflict.
Stockbroker Jonathan Normolle continues to show little remorse about speaking his mind about the cast.
However, the comments made about Lindsey appear to have angered the staff member who wrote on Instagram: ‘Put me in a position too since you pushed the narrative that you ‘fired me’ when the truth is we didn’t work out because you were an incompetent agent.
‘You also didn’t mention that you asked me back via text, but I left.’
He added: ‘Let’s be clear: I learned everything I know by trial and error, because no one injected me with anything.
‘On Chloe and Jordan’s team, I was the one responsible for over $59,000 in sales that went to Marker. I wasn’t credited for anything.’
She continued, “It was extremely painful, especially seeing others being rewarded for their mediocrity. It took me over a year to grieve and heal from that disappointment. I accepted it with all my strength and have since started from scratch as a solo agent.”
Chloe responded on Instagram, writing: “Let’s nip this in the bud now as people love coming out of nowhere to try and spin the story and get their 5 minutes. It’s amazing.”
