Fans have criticized MLB star Jazz Chisholm as an “absolute idiot” for drenching a female reporter during his postgame interview Tuesday night.
Miami Marlins interviewer Jessica Blaylock was interviewing the evening’s hero, Vidal Brujan, after the win over the St Louis Cardinals, when Chisholm sneaked up behind him and unloaded an entire water cooler on the pair and a translator.
While Blaylock took it in stride during the livestream, fans on social media were left furious at the “disrespectful” move, with many insisting it went too far.
“What an asshole,” one baseball fan wrote, while another labeled him an “absolute asshole.”
Another wrote that Chisholm, who was recently voted MLB’s most overrated player in an anonymous poll conducted by his peers, is the “most disliked player” in baseball.

Blaylock took it in good humor but fans rallied behind her after the ‘disrespectful’ moment on live television.
Marlins center fielder Jazz Chisholm was to blame as he flexed and smiled for the cameras.
While live on Bally Sports after the game, a soaked and concussed Blaylock played well and said, ‘Oh my God. I feel like maybe I just struck the final blow.”
However, Chisholm didn’t seem to regret his actions, instead flexing and smiling for the camera.
A teammate even tapped him on the chest to approve the joke.

Chisholm was recently voted by his teammates as the most overrated player in the league.
Blaylock covers all things Miami for Bally Sports and is a regular at Marlins games.
‘What in the world was that?’ added another user of the gesture.
Blaylock later said of the prank on social media: ‘Hey @j_chisholm3, I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything.
But you better bring me chocolate tomorrow!!! I think I earned it!’
The center fielder later responded: ‘You know I always have you!!! There is a box waiting for you.
