The star of the popular reality show Outback Truckers Sludge was rushed to hospital after a serious motorcycle accident involving head injuries.
His fiancée Wendy shared the news on Facebook: ‘If Sludge hasn’t responded to your messages it’s because on Saturday March 4th he had a very serious motorcycle accident.
He is very lucky to be alive.

“He is still hospitalized, but he will recover, but it will be a very slow and long recovery and rehabilitation.
Rest assured, I will take very good care of him when he can come home.
He has suffered head injuries between several broken bones, torn ligaments, and many bruises and abrasions.
