No one could object to Orlando Bloom’s latest role being varied, not even the actor himself, who returned to the set while filming continued in the English capital on Wednesday.
The British star, 47, is currently filming Deep Cover, an upcoming Amazon Prime original film about three hapless improv actors who have been hired by the police to help stage potentially dangerous low-level operations.
But their habit of saying “yes” to everything without altering their character finds them immersed in London’s criminal underworld.

As well as Bloom and Howard, the upcoming film features House Of The Dragon star Paddy Considine and Ted Lasso’s Nick Mohammed, who were also present on Wednesday.
The cast and crew were seen mingling between takes, with Bloom, Howard and Mohammad seemingly sharing a joke before resuming work.
“We are delighted to bring this new action comedy to our customers,” Tushar Jindal, head of content for Prime Video in the UK, said in a recent statement.
“With an incredible cast, a top-notch creative team and a fantastic script, we know it will be a hit.”
The film is based on an original screenplay by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow, who previously collaborated on the Hollywood hit Jurassic World.
