He put on a show of love with his fiancée Katy Perry throughout the evening.
But Orlando Bloom was seen with his eyes averted on Monday night at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner in New York City.
The Lord of the Rings actor, 47, was pictured in a hilarious moment when he appeared to glance at fellow guest Kim Kardashian’s prominent backside.
The actor, who looked particularly dapper in his classic black tie attire, was seen gazing down at Kim’s backside as he stood next to his fiancée with one arm placed at her side.
Despite the display of humor, Orlando and Katy, 39, remained affectionate as they hugged each other on the red carpet and shared a few romantic kisses.
Orlando Bloom, 47, was caught in a hilarious photo showing him seemingly checking out Kim Kardashian’s backside on Thursday at the Kering Foundation’s Caring for Women dinner in New York City.
Despite the playful display, Orlando and his fiancée Katy Perry, 39, looked affectionate on the red carpet.
The Pirates of the Caribbean actor looked particularly cute in the snap with Kim and Katy thanks to a soft smile he flashed as he looked in Kim’s direction.
He looked much more sober and serious in a photo taken from a similar angle that again showed the three of them, although this time he stared straight into the camera.
Katy looked glamorous at the charity event, which supports organizations dedicated to ending gender-based violence, thanks to her off-shoulder dress covered in teal sequins.
Kim dazzled in a bright white dress that contrasted with a plastic look, with intentional gathers and wrinkles running through it.
Despite Orlando’s seemingly averted gaze, his fiancée Katy has been friends with Kim for years.
In 2017, Kim delighted her eldest daughter, North West, by taking her to one of Katy’s concerts, which included a meet-and-greet with the singer-songwriter.
But it wasn’t until 2018 that their friendship became more visible after fans noticed the two hanging out together at the Met Gala.
After some social media users commented on photos of Katy admiring Kim’s nails, the Kardashian star revealed on Twitter that Katy had done her a huge favor by flying her fake nails from Los Angeles to New York on her private jet.
The raven-haired beauties then traded banter back and forth on social media when they poked fun at each other’s over-the-top tearful faces last year after Katy shed a few tears while working as a judge on American Idol.
Orlando wasn’t the only one who may have been enchanted by Kim at the gala.
François-Henri Pinault, chairman and chief executive of luxury conglomerate Kering, flashed a broad smile as he met the social media star at the event.

The billionaire, who is chairman and chief executive of luxury conglomerate Kering, is also married to Salma Hayek (centre), who accompanied him to the gala.
François-Henri, who opted for a black tuxedo with pointed lapels, posed for several photos with Kim, and was also joined by his bombshell wife Salma Hayek, who looked glamorous in a sheer, off-the-shoulder black dress.
Kim, Salma and Priyanka Chopra Jonas co-hosted the Caring for Women dinner.
Other co-hosts of the evening included François-Henri, Camila Alves McConaughey, Matthew McConaughey, Carmelo Anthony, Urs Fischer, Donatella Versace, Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup.
The event benefited organizations including Girl Effect, It’s On Us, and the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).
“For women and children to be free to develop their potential without the weight of fear, threats and trauma, it is critical that we address violence at its roots to change behavior and heal our collective culture,” Pinault, who is also president of the Kering Foundation, said in a statement Thursday.
Katy and Orlando’s outing comes after the pop star revealed she “would be dead” if she and partner Orlando Bloom hadn’t taken a year-long break early in their relationship.
The couple began dating in 2016, but split a year later.
They reconciled in late 2018, got engaged on Valentine’s Day 2019, and welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, in August 2020.
In it Call your dad With Alex Cooper, Katy, who turns 40 next month, reflected on the early stages of their relationship.
“We weren’t very involved from day one,” she said. “I mean, he was, because he had just spent a long time in celibacy and had clear intentions. I had just gotten out of a relationship and I was like, ‘I can’t do this anymore. I need to go swim in another pond,’ but I still had a lot of real work to do.”
François-Henri opted for a black tuxedo with peaked lapels, while Kim wore a stunning all-white dress with a shiny, plastic-like appearance and an intentionally wrinkled texture.
The two posted several cute photos together.
Katy couldn’t keep her hands to herself as she hugged her British fiancé on the red carpet.

Shortly after they began dating, Orlando attended the Hoffman Institute, a personal growth retreat in California.
After her return, the couple separated. Katy later attended the Hoffman Institute.
“I had a really rough year, and I finally went to Hoffman towards the end of that year that we were apart, and then I got the tools and spoke the same language, and that changed my life,” he said.
“It saved my life. Without it, I would be dead. I wouldn’t be on this planet without that process… and without meditation.”
