The Silver Ferns hit back with a brilliant victory in the third match of the Constellation Cup series against Australia, giving themselves a chance to level things up in the final clash in Auckland.
The Diamonds won the first two Tests by a combined 19 goals in Melbourne and Brisbane, and began the third match in Invercargill in similar fashion, with a four-goal lead after the first quarter.
New Zealand took the lead with an 18-10 second period before the Diamonds fought back to take a two-goal lead into the final quarter.
But the Ferns kept their composure in front of their home fans and finished 16-11 to lock up the 56-53 victory.
