It was the great TV host Oprah Winfrey who gave the most dire warning about former President Donald Trump’s election victory on Tuesday at a star-studded rally in support of Vice President Kamala Harris on Monday night in Philadelphia.

“If we don’t show up tomorrow, we very well may not have the opportunity to vote again,” Winfrey warned the crowd, which waited for hours to see a lineup that included Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin, Will.i.am, Fat Joe and the roots.

Winfrey told Democrats: “All the anxiety and fear you feel, you feel because you feel danger.”

“And you change that with your vote,” he said. “They are voting for healing instead of hate.”

Nearly every metric shows Tuesday’s presidential race between Harris and Trump will be exciting, as seven battleground states will decide who will occupy the White House in January.

Pennsylvania is the main prize and Harris spent her last day of the campaign touring the Keystone State, with her last stop in Philadelphia, at the foot of the ‘Rocky Steps’, in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Democratic candidate took the stage hand in hand with Winfrey and spoke openly about the symbol of that city and place.

“It’s good to be back in the City of Brotherly Love, where the foundations of our democracy were forged,” Harris said. “And here, on these famous steps, a tribute to those who start as the underdogs and rise to victory.”

Harris did not mention Trump by name during her closing remarks at the rally, a stark difference from her rally at the Ellipse, where she mentioned him frequently.

If Harris wins the White House, it will be a remarkable end to one of the most dramatic presidential elections in modern history. He was given just 13 weeks to try to beat Trump, who announced his 2024 bid before any other candidate.

The Democrat did it with plenty of Hollywood influence: with a surprise appearance from Will.I.Am and a patriotic salute from Lady Gaga, who also knocked Harris’ fans out of the park on Benjamin Franklin Parkway with her hit, The Edge of Gloria .

“Today I carry in my heart all the tough, tenacious women who made me who I am,” Lady Gaga told the crowd. ‘I cast my vote for someone who will be president for all Americans, and now, Pennsylvania, it’s your turn. The country depends on you.

Gaga’s own father has publicly come out in favor of Trump.

The pop star played God Bless America, before introducing second gentleman Doug Emhoff.

Earlier that night, Bronx-born rapper Fat Joe, of Puerto Rican and Cuban descent, criticized former Trump and his MAGA allies for not only insulting Puerto Ricans, but also Haitians and Mexican-Americans.

I heard they needed a Puerto Rican in Philly! Fat Joe said as he took the stage on the famous ‘Rocky Steps’ outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

Fat Joe appeared in Philadelphia on Monday night as part of Vice President Kamala Harris’ final campaign rally.

He introduced Ricky Martin, another Puerto Rican who more openly supports the Democratic candidate after last week’s Madison Square Garden rally, where a Trump-aligned comedian called the U.S. territory a “floating pile of garbage.”

Fat Joe argued to all Latinos: ‘Where is your pride? When will it be enough?

‘Tonight I am short and sweet. It’s all about pride,” he said. “A couple of years ago, when I saw Donald Trump come down the escalator and call my Mexican brothers and sisters drug dealers, I obviously didn’t know the contributions of Mexican-Americans to this country. “.

He then recalled how Trump threw paper towels “like they were basketballs” at Puerto Ricans in the wake of devastating Hurricane Maria.

“A couple of weeks ago, I watched these people again. They told my Haitian brothers and sisters that they ate cats and dogs,” Fat Joe continued.

He then went to Madison Square Garden and called it a “demonstration of hate.”

‘I have to let you know that I’m the guy who got kicked off the comedy show because I laugh too much. I think I’m going to die laughing. I find everything funny. But when they get there and call Puerto Rico a garbage island, tell me how you really feel, huh?

“It didn’t seem like a joke to me,” the rapper continued. ‘Disrespected Jews, black people, talking about carving watermelons. I mean, this is out of control, but I asked my people…where is their pride?’

Harris supporters waited in line for hours to get to the rally site, located on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, across from the iconic ‘Rocky Steps’ of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

At certain times of the night, other demonstrations taking place across the country were broadcast to the jumbotrons.

Not everything always went well.

At one point, DJ Cassidy said attendees could watch remarks by vice presidential candidate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, delivered Monday in Milwaukee.

There was a slight delay before Walz’s words could be heard.

Another longer delay occurred when DJ Cassidy announced that the Philadelphia audience would be able to see what was happening in Pittsburgh.

Screens did not immediately show the scene in western Pennsylvania, so DJ Cassidy was forced to dance on the Black and Yellow stage.

Eventually, Pittsburgh was broadcast and the Philadelphia audience watched Cedric the Entertainer’s introduction of Harris and Harris’ speech.

Additionally, the Philadelphia crowd was able to hear Katy Perry, the headliner of the Pittsburgh rally and concert, be introduced, but the sound cut out before Perry began her first song.

The audio played again before Perry began her second song, Part of Me, but cut out again before finishing.

Later that night, the Philadelphia crowd started chanting ‘noooo!’ when the audio cut out briefly during Jon Bon Jovi’s performance, which was taking place in Detroit.

Then they sang Livin’ on a Prayer.

As 11 p.m. approached, the Philadelphia public also began to grow restless.

Get her out! a follower shouted. ‘Where’s Gaga?’ another shouted.

Then the crowd started chanting ‘Philadelphia!’ to try to bring the action to the Philadelphia stage.
