Jayden Oosterwolde made the switch from FC Twente to Parma last season on a rental basis. The Italian club had a mandatory option to purchase and took over the 21-year-old wing defender from the Enschede team for three million euros.
Oosterwolde is a fixed value in the team this season and the Italians are performing better than last season. Parma is sixth in Serie B, just three points behind second, entitling them to direct promotion to Italy’s top tier.
According to Italian media Because of his good game, Oosterwolde is in the interest of a Premier League club. Southampton would be interested in the defender, who would be high on the list of the English club. In addition, the German FC Augsburg would also show interest.
The sale of Oosterwolde would turn out well for FC Twente, since the Tukkers also benefit. The Enschede club then receives a training allowance and a solidarity contribution. The amounts depend on the amount of the transfer that Oosterwolde must yield.
