Rising demand for online shopping is fueling the rise of giant supershed warehouses in the UK.

According to research by Altus Group, nearly 15 square meters of warehouse space was built last year – equivalent to 191 Premier League football pitches.

This included 49 so-called supersheds, which are larger than 85,000 square feet.
