The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom officially finished in less than an hour, setting a new record for the fastest completion of a Breath of the Wild sequel.

The adept runner set his own time record on speedrun.com and instantly claimed the top of the leaderboard, having beaten previous record holder SlyZorua, who finished in 1 hour 2 minutes 42 seconds.
Tears of the Kingdom was released on May 12 and sold 10 million copies worldwide in its first three days. Players were excited to return to Hyrule to explore its all-new mysteries and test out different tricks, including ones that save time while navigating the game.
