Rabbitohs star Jai Arrow’s heartwarming marriage proposal was accepted by his girlfriend Berina Colakovic during a romantic post-season holiday in Italy.
On Tuesday, Arrow confirmed he had popped the question to his partner and shared several photos after getting down on one knee on the stunning Amalfi Coast.
The Souths defender shared Colakovic’s post, which read: “Grateful to have found my forever person, I love you so much.” YEAH.’
The post, which included photos of Arrow proposing and the engagement ring, sparked a flood of comments congratulating the couple.
“Congratulations family,” posted teammate Cody Walker.
Sports broadcaster Danika Mason posted a series of love heart emojis, as did fellow football star Liam Knight.
Arrow has established himself as one of the game’s toughest players and played most of the 2024 NRL season with a severely injured shoulder that required surgery.

The NRL star and his partner were holidaying on the stunning Amalfi Coast when he got down on one knee.
The dedicated soccer star delayed joint surgery due to an injury crisis at his club.
“He embodies what it means to be a good teammate,” captain Cam Murray explained this season.
“He always says his biggest fear is disappointing his teammates and he proves it every week.”
The Souths workhorse made headlines in 2021 after he breached Covid guidelines while in the Origin camp.
Colakovic shared a post on social media announcing the happy news.
He was kicked off the Maroons team and fined $35,000 after taking a woman to the Queensland camp on the Gold Coast.
Arrow’s ex-partner, former Miss World Australia Taylah Cannon, unfollowed the star after the news broke and it was revealed that the woman in question was a “dancer.”
Arrow later admitted he knew the rules and was remorseful for his actions in a statement released by the Queensland Rugby League.
“I know I have let down a lot of people, including my team-mates, coaching staff and fans across the rugby league community,” Arrow said.
‘I’m very sorry about this. I have fully co-operated with the NRL Integrity Unit and understand the scrutiny and criticism brought to my attention.’
