Twix has launched a decadent new chocolate bar in Australia that costs just $2.20, but it’s only available for a limited time.

Throughout this month, fans will be able to get their hands on Twix Wafer Rolls, described by Mars as a “crispy, creamy and light” snack.

The gift includes two light and crispy wafer rolls covered in smooth milk chocolate and filled with the delicious Twix flavor that fans know and love.

The latest offer can be found in the confectionery aisle at all Coles stores and independent retailers nationwide.

This is the first new product innovation for the Twix brand this year following the launch of Snickers Brownie, M&M’S Cookie Dough and Skittles Cloudz.

Bianca Werkmeister, Portfolio Director at Twix, said: ‘While consumers are actively seeking out more indulgent treats, taste and texture remain the number one component when looking to satisfy a craving.

‘Our new Twix Wafer Rolls hit the mark on every level, featuring the much-loved Twix flavour that the brand is iconic for, combined with the new crispy wafer that provides a new textural eating experience, along with a lighter formula of just 114 calories per serving, creating more affordability for consumers.

“We’re really proud to bring this product to market and are excited to hear the response from Twix fans and chocolate lovers alike.”

In April, Foodie blogger Mumma Ren was excited by the news of the launch and shared a picture on Facebook.

“I’m so excited for this release! I’ve always been a huge Twix fan!” she wrote.

One person commented: OMG these are going to be so good!

Another said: ‘I’m here for all things Twix.’

Earlier this month, Australian confectionery brand Allen’s launched a new surprise gift and delighted its fans.

Beloved fruit flavors have gotten a makeover to represent Monopoly tokens, including Strawberry Hotel, Pink Raspberry Dog, Green Apple Car, Zesty Orange Top Hat and Pineapple Duck.

The new offer will only be available in stores for a limited time and will sell for $5 each.

Melanie Chen, Nestlé’s confectionery marketing director, said: “Buying, selling, dreaming and planning just got even sweeter.”
