One in six motorists say they are baffled by parking apps, confusing rules and paying by phone.

Researchers found that 15 percent of drivers are anxious about receiving tickets and fines because the rules are too difficult to follow.

The survey (from car maker Dacia and JustPark, an app that helps drivers find parking spaces) found that complicated traffic signs, the growing need to use parking apps and paying with smartphones are the main causes of confusion and fear.
