An Australian influencer has expressed her outrage after receiving a $300 fine after a walk in the park.

Mum-of-two Tammi Keirl took to social media on Wednesday to reveal that a council ranger fined her family for walking their dog, Sunny, off-leash on a quiet oval.

“This woman (came) strutting on her high horse to ticket Jason…apparently no off-leash dogs are allowed in the entire suburb.”

Tammi continued: ‘How are they supposed to know that? Racing Sunny on a quiet oval will now cost us over $300. What a bloody joke.’

The influencer explained that she did not know the rules and that she “would have loved to have received a warning.”

“I didn’t know you can’t have dogs off leash anywhere unless it specifically says you can have dogs off leash.”

“I would understand a warning or a $50 fine, but $300 fines… that’s hectic,” he added.

It comes after Keirl made headlines last February when she took her two children out of school to travel to Australia before cutting the trip short to save her marriage.

In October 2022, the influencer told her Instagram followers that she, her husband and children were going around Australia in a caravan.

However, within just two months, he changed his mind and cut the trip short, saying it was too difficult to be on the road with two young children.

When he first announced his plans to travel the country with his family in a van, Keirl explained that the decision was motivated by his oldest daughter, Ruby’s, struggles in school.

However, two months later, she admitted that traveling with her children was affecting her marriage, so they were returning home earlier than planned.

“Today we decided to end our trip early and return to the sunny coast in April,” she wrote alongside a dark, blurry selfie.

‘It’s putting too much pressure on our marriage with no free time for kids and Sav (their youngest daughter) driving. “I’ll cherish it all until it’s over.”

Tammi married businessman Jason Weller in November 2022.
