A swimmer was allegedly arrested by lifeguards who groped people in the water at Sydney’s iconic Bondi Beach.
Bondi Rescue lifeguards Anthony Glick and Mario Marfella prompted several swimmers to claim that the man in the water had touched them inappropriately, as seen in a clip shared on the popular TV show’s Facebook page this week.
The two lifeguards watched the man, who was wearing a blue swimming cap, from his stroller and noticed that he was intentionally diving into the ocean with his arms open.
They claimed they saw him touching several different people and decided to take him to shore for questioning.

A pair of young women told lifeguards they allegedly had to push the man’s hands away from their waists into the water.
When Glick confronted the man on shore, he denied any wrongdoing and appeared confused by the accusations.
The man’s wife then appeared and said her husband’s behavior was due to his glasses fogging up, preventing him from seeing properly.
“When the wife showed up, we thought she would be angry with him, but it was the other way around… trying to protect him,” Mr. Glick said.
The man was charged with three counts of sexual touching without consent
Officers from Bondi police station then arrived to interview him and ask witnesses what they saw.
The man and his wife were due to leave Australia the next day, but police took him back to the station for questioning.
He was charged with three counts of sexual touching without consent.
