French diver Jules Bouyer has been offered a lifetime supply of underwear after his skimpy swimsuit caused a frenzy at this week’s Olympics.

Fans were thrown into turmoil earlier this week after an image of Bouyer, who finished fifth in the final of the men’s 3m synchronised springboard event on Friday, wearing particularly tight briefs went viral on social media.

And following the online furore, underwear company Shinesty has offered to protect the 22-year-old’s famous bulge for life.

According TMZ SportsShinesty officials, who are famous for offering “Ball Hammock Pouch” underwear designed to provide extra support for male genitalia, are set to provide Bouyer with a lifetime supply of their underwear.

“When we saw what Olympic diver Jules Bouyer was carrying in his suitcase from the south of France, we didn’t care that we were an American company,” a company representative said.

“We wanted to give him a gold medal and protect that front truck of his for many Olympic Games to come.”

Shinesty is said to have already reached out to Bouyer’s family and Olympic officials to begin discussions on a possible deal with the diving star.

Bouyer, from Annecy, France, took the plunge alongside teammate Alexis Jandard, who has also attracted a lot of attention for his appearance since the opening ceremony.

Jules will also compete in the 3m individual springboard event next week and is working hard in practice to finalize her dives for the competition.

A photo of him showering by the pool has caused a stir on the internet after fans were left speechless by one particular snap.

This sent fans on social media into a frenzy, with one commenting that it was “the only reason I love the Olympics.”
