Olly Murs celebrated his 40th birthday on Tuesday and paid special tribute to his newborn daughter Madison on the occasion.
The singer shared an adorable photo of himself cradling and kissing the one-month-old baby, and admitted: “The only gift I wanted for my 40th birthday was to be a dad and here you are xx, I love you Madi.”
She received well wishes from fans and friends, including former Love Island star Laura Anderson, who wrote: “Awww amazing.” TOWIE star Jess Wright, who also wished her a happy birthday.
During the day, the X Factor alum surprised his family, friends and stage crew as he supported Take That as a special guest on their This Life tour.
Olly and the Nineties favorites performed at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena on Tuesday, and when he joined backstage earlier he was in for a pleasant surprise.

But that wasn’t the only surprise Olly enjoyed, as Greggs also took the opportunity to wow him with a truly unique sausage, bean and cheese pie.
She shared clips of the iconic maxi cake on her Instagram stories as she enjoyed the party backstage before taking to the stage.
Greggs was inspired by Olly’s love of his iconic Sausage, Bean & Cheese Melt, creating a custom cake that mimicked the much-loved and savory Bake, right down to its realistic golden puff pastry icing decoration and delicious baked bean filling.
Opening the incredible gift, the singer said: “Greggs this is amazing,” while captioning the video: “Oh my god look at it.”
He smiled from ear to ear, amazed by the unexpected surprises, as he posed next to the gigantic cake.

The gigantic surprise item arrived enclosed in a personalized box that had the slogan ‘Turning 40? Piece of Cake’ and inside wished Olly a ‘Happy 40th Birthday from Sausagey Beany’, complete with a bow on top.
Furthermore, Greggs created hidden drawers in the custom pie box containing 12 freshly baked sausages, beans and melted cheese, ready to share between the crew and guests backstage, as the star is a big fan of the “real deal.”
The stunning cake was created in partnership with ML Bespoke Cakes, who were also behind Olly and his wife Amelia’s multi-layered wedding cake which the couple presented to guests at their three-day celebration in July last year.
The pop star also previously celebrated her milestone birthday at the Gravity MAX center in Wandsworth, where she spent some live karting time with close friends and family.
