Olly Murs and pregnant wife Amelia hit the gym for a ‘mum and dad workout’ as singer ‘gets ready for tour’ while fitness fanatic ‘gets ready for labour’

Olly Murs and his pregnant wife Amelia have shared a clip of them working out together at the gym.

The singer, 39, and the professional bodybuilder, 32, who tied the knot in July 2023, announced they were expecting their first child in December.

And the couple look closer than ever, as Amelia took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a video of the pair lifting weights side by side.

Her burgeoning baby bump was on display in a sports bra and matching black leggings as she showed off her incredible fitness.

Olly and Amelia did synchronized squats and lifts together, before Olly planted a sweet kiss on his wife’s tummy.

Captioning the video, set to Ella Henderson’s alibi, Amelia joked: “While he’s getting ready for the tour… I’m getting ready for the birth.”

The fitness fanatic added: “Thank you @rob_solly for the mom and dad workout.”

Olly commented on the post raving about Amelia, writing: “My wife is amazing .”

And her fans flooded the comments to also praise Amelia for her impressive athleticism during pregnancy.

They shared: ‘You are amazing! My training during pregnancy consisted of getting out of bed or going to the bathroom; You make it look so easy. I could never have made him pregnant.

‘Not only are you lifting those DBs, but you’re also lifting babies; Wow, that’s amazing, Amelia! You’re a girl lifting weights and a baby too!!’

The joint workout comes after Olly surprised Amelia with a Greggs-themed baby shower earlier this month.

The Dear Darlin hitmaker dressed like a sausage roll for the event as he shared hilarious snaps on his Instagram from the fun-filled day.

Olly had organized a ‘Preggs’ food truck to provide food and drink for his guests while Amelia posed in front of him in a chic black ensemble for a photo.

The couple had planned a baby shower celebration with close friends and family at the town hall of their village in Essex.

But little did Amelia know that Olly was working behind the scenes with Greggs, organizing his own ‘Preggs’ themed celebration.

They also provided custom designed pastry bags that said “Murs are Happier!”

Amelia also shared a glimpse of the day on her Instagram and captioned it: “Thank you to my sister-in-law, my hubs and of course @greggs_official for the best baby shower surprise.”

The couple have made their love for the bakery clear in the past, sharing a Christmas photo last year with Amelia sporting a Greggs-themed jumper.

The snap saw Olly and Amelia standing outside the front door with their Japanese Shiba Inu dog, Missy, which Olly captioned: “Have a Merry Christmas Day from us.”

Greggs also shouted out the couple when they first announced their pregnancy earlier this month.

While famous faces including Mark Wright, Joe Wicks and Beverley Knight flocked to the comments section to send their love, it was someone else’s that made Olly’s heart skip a beat.

The official Greggs Instagram wrote: ‘Congratulations on your bun in the oven! The sausage rolls are on us.

Clearly excited, Olly replied: ‘No way! I love Greggs!! Your captions along with some crying, laughing faces and clapping hands emojis.

But the comical exchange didn’t end there, as Greggs joked again: “We’re getting in Preggs’ truck soon…”

Olly then shared a story with his 4.6 million followers showing the exchange and captioned it: “No, my mind’s gone.” My Christmas done’.
