Olivia Rodrigo has followed in Katy Perry’s footsteps by visiting a well-known Melbourne star during her Australian tour.
Katy, 39, first created a viral moment when she visited Melbourne’s Sea Life Aquarium to visit internet superstar Pesto the penguin.
Now Olivia, 21, has had her own audience with the King Penguin, who has become famous for his impressive 23kg size and eating 25 fish a day, with videos of him racking up millions of views.
Taking to Instagram on Friday, the pop star shared photos and videos of her visit to the now-viral seabird as Pesto snagged another celebrity fan.
Dressed in snow gear and goggles, Olivia, who is currently in Australia for her Guts world tour, looked delighted as she met the famous penguin in a sweet moment.
She also shared a video of herself smiling and flashing the peace sign while nine-month-old Pesto, who measures an impressive 90cm long, stood next to her.
Olivia is currently in Melbourne for her Guts tour and has already played two epic shows at the Rod Laver Arena, with two more shows to go on Sunday and Monday.
He will then perform four sold-out shows at the Qudos Bank Arena on October 17, 18, 21 and 22 for thousands of eager fans who managed to get tickets.

His visit to see Pesto comes just weeks after Firework creator Katy helped boost the Penguin’s viral fame when she visited him ahead of his headlining performance at last month’s AFL Grand Final.
Sharing snaps of the encounter on social media, Katy was all smiles as she gushed about Pesto and entertained him by blowing some bubbles in her enclosure.
Last night I visited Pesto. “He told me who will win tomorrow in the AFL grand final, but my lips are sealed,” Katy joked in a clip she shared on her social media.
Many of Katy’s followers quickly took to the comments section to express their appreciation for the adorable images.
‘Pesto definitely wishes you good luck for the big concert tomorrow!’ wrote Sea Life Aquarium and another fan added: ‘Cutest thing on the internet.’
Meanwhile, comedian Rove McManus had fun at Katy’s expense as he visited the popular penguin shortly after the world music star.
During an episode of The Project, Rove visited Pesto to ask what the famous I Kissed a Girl singer was “really like.”

Not surprisingly, the furry creature seemed uninterested in Rove’s “tough” questions about Katy and their recent encounter.
“Pesto, Rove McManus of the Project,” he began.
“I was just wondering how all this fame has affected you when you were a baby penguin.”
He continued: ‘What is Katy Perry like?’
Unfortunately for Rove, Pesto continued wandering off to join his mates at the venue, but the star insisted: ‘Has fame gone to your head, Pesto?’
Finally, Rove became confrontational and added: ‘What do you say about the rumors about you and Katy Perry? So you don’t hide it or deny it.
The best Pesto could do in response was a disinterested squawk at the funny segment.

When Pesto was born in January, he already weighed 200 grams and has grown rapidly since then, thanks in part to his enormous appetite.
It eats four times a day with one meal consisting of eight fish and its size has made it an internet star around the world, with billions of videos of the big chick viewed.
