Olivia Rodrigo has added new dates to her Guts 2024 Australian tour amid sky-high demand for tickets.
The pop star, 21, will tour Sydney and Melbourne in October, and was originally scheduled to take the stage for just four shows in the two cities.
However, Olivia has now added four additional dates to her Australian tour schedule after pre-sales sold out in a matter of hours on Wednesday.
He originally announced that he would perform at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on October 9 and 10, but has now added October 13 and 14 as well.
Olivia will also take to the stage at Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on October 21 and 22, as well as shows originally scheduled for October 17 and 18.

They compared it to the difficulties fans faced trying to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s popular Eras tour Down Under as they shared their discomfort.

Ticketek took to social media to give advice to fans who were struggling to get tickets and gave them a list of steps to follow.

However, social media users took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to call the pre-sale “chaos” as they claimed Ticketek’s website was malfunctioning and crashing.
‘Remember to only use a Ticketek browser when purchasing tickets. If you keep seeing this message, clear your browser cache, try using a different browser, and make sure you are not using a VPN,” they wrote.
‘Be sure to access the Olivia Rodrigo Live Nation pre-sale through the Live Nation website. When the pre-sale begins, log into your account and click BUY TICKETS. No pre-sale code needed.’
Although some fans shared their disappointment, many lucky social media users expressed their joy after managing to get tickets in the pre-sale.

Eager fans will have another chance to snag tickets in Thursday’s general sale, which begins at 1pm AEST, with prices ranging from $75 to $300.

Ticket prices for his show are believed to range from $75 to $300, depending on seating and packaging options.
VIP packages and experiences are available for fans who want to take their concert experience to the next level.
The Guts tour supports Rodrigo’s critically acclaimed second studio album, Guts, which has earned him six Grammy nominations, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
The most expensive tickets to the GA Pit Experience will allow early entry to the venue, a photo opportunity in front of the VIP backdrop and the purchase of pre-show merchandise in front of the general public.
A limited number of $20 Silver Star tickets were also made available, and Olivia said she wanted to make it as affordable as possible for her fans.
Joining Olivia on the Australian leg will be talented New Zealand singer-songwriter Benee, who will open all four shows.
