And more than a decade later, Olivia Palermo, 35, has shared that fame as a socialite and influencer.

On Tuesday, she showed off her fashionista credentials as she headed to New York City in an eclectic ensemble.

Palermo made a statement with a white high-neck blouse with a double ruffle hem and long sleeves.

She paired the top with skinny blue jeans and stepped out in light blue embellished slippers.

She wore her hair scraped from her face in an updo and wore large sunglasses with black frames.

She was carrying a multicolored bag and picked up an iced coffee to take with her.
