Olivia Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and their wives have a mini reunion in London

George’s widow makes ends meet with a little help from her friends: Olivia Harrison, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and their wives have a mini reunion in London

They may have worn masks on their night out in London.

But that couldn’t disguise the lasting bonds of love and friendship in the extended Beatles family.

Sir Paul McCartney, 79, and Sir Ringo Starr, 81, enjoyed a mini reunion in the company of their respective wives Nancy Shevell, 61, and Barbara Bach, 74, as well as George Harrison’s widow Olivia Harrison, 73.

Sir Ringo walked hand in hand with Miss Bach, in a star-print mask, before hugging Mrs. Harrison as they parted.

George died, aged 58, in 2001, 21 years after John Lennon was fatally shot.

The two remaining rockers have had a tumultuous relationship since their early days in the band, but seemed to be on good terms for their latest reunion.

Sir Ringo looked youthful, with a full head of dark hair and a beard, and he wore dark glasses.

He recently said that the secret to his appearance is a vegetarian diet with lots of berries.
