Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes are in a long-distance relationship, but luckily for the LSU gymnast, her boyfriend is happy to spend a lot so they can see each other.
Dunne remained in Baton Rouge for a fifth and final season of collegiate athletics, while Skenes is based in Pittsburgh after being drafted by the MLB Pirates.
And since Dunne’s busy schedule didn’t leave her much time to watch his matches in person, she revealed on the…The ‘Best of Both Worlds’ Podcast With fellow American Tiger Flau’jae Johnson, Skenes sometimes charters his private jets.
“I’m in school, I’m busy and I don’t really have time to take connecting flights and spend a whole day traveling,” Dunne said.
‘Sometimes Paul provides me with an easier way to get from point A to point B, for which I am grateful.’

Dunne revealed that Skenes will splurge on private jets so she can watch his matches.
Dunne previously posted a TikTok showing her and Skenes aboard a private jet on the way to the MLB All-Star Game, where the pitcher had an impressive performance as a rookie.
Dunne told Johnson that this occasion was his first time on a private jet.
“You can’t just leave whenever you want, especially when you’re in pre-season,” Dunne said, further explaining the benefits of private travel.
Johnson was impressed by Skenes’ initiative, and both she and Dunne proclaimed “If I wanted to, I would” at the end of the clip.
While chartering a private jet is financially unfeasible for most people, Skenes is of course making a lot of money in the MLB.
Dunne was on hand in May when Skenes made his major league debut against the Cubs.
He signed a $9.2 million contract with the Pirates last year before ever setting foot on an MLB mound.
Dunne’s admission to the private plane comes as she and her LSU gymnastics teammates received their championship rings from last season.
She showed off her jewelry on Friday night on her Instagram Story, captioning the post ‘RING SZN’ to her 5.3 million Instagram followers.
A joyful Dunne posted a photo with rings on both fingers and also shared a video showing off his new custom ring, which featured his last name and ‘LSU’ with the school’s purple and gold color scheme.
