Olivia Dunne spent her Christmas Eve doing the 'Polar Plunge' in the ocean on her own terms

At home in New Jersey, before the start of her final college season at LSU, Olivia Dunne spent her Christmas Eve doing the “Polar Plunge” on her own terms in the Atlantic Ocean at the Jersey Shore.

Dunne identified her location as Belmar Beach in the Garden State and the temperature was 32 degrees, or exactly freezing.

That didn’t stop the social media sensation from donning a red bikini and diving headfirst into the icy water.

Dunne’s golden retriever Roux was also at the beach and came to meet the Tigers’ star as soon as she emerged from the water.

Dunne will be back in Baton Rouge when LSU’s regular season starts on Jan. 3.

Many have speculated what’s in store for Dunne, especially as the girlfriend of MLB All-Star pitcher Paul Skenes.

Dunne has shown no interest, nor been courted because of her ability, to be part of Team USA for the Olympics. She will no longer be eligible for college in May.

Dunne has over 13.5 million followers on Instagram and TikTok and has a name, image and likeness evaluation of $4.2 million per On3 Sports.

Dunne is by far the highest rated woman, beating out fellow LSU student-athlete Flau’jae Johnson with $2.7 million.

Among college athletes who will still be associated with their school in 2025, Dunne is the second-highest NIL earner, behind Texas quarterback Arch Manning.

Colorado’s gridiron star duo of Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders both have valuations above $5 million.
