Olivia Culpo’s sisters have responded to the backlash the influencer received for her choice of wedding dress when she walked down the aisle on June 29.
For the ceremony, the 32-year-old bride chose a very modest Dolce & Gabbana dress with long sleeves, a high neck and an A-line skirt.
The former Miss Rhode Island USA said Fashion she “didn’t want it to exude sex in any way.”
‘I wanted it to feel effortless and like it was complimenting me, not overwhelming me. “There is so much beauty and simplicity,” he told the outlet.
Some of the comments were so cruel that Olivia, 32, and her husband Christian McCaffrey, 28, responded to them on social media.

“What an evil thing to post online,” the San Francisco 49ers running back wrote.
“I hope you can find joy and peace in the world, like my beautiful wife does.”
In an interview with People Prior to their collaboration with Thorne, Aurora, 35, and Sophia Culpo, 27, spoke out about the vitriol posted by haters against their sister.
“Social media can be very toxic and I think people will say anything to get opinions,” Sophia said.
“They will use any language to start a controversy just for their personal benefit,” he said, adding: “To do it on someone’s wedding day, I think it’s really in bad taste.”
Aurora agreed. “I think someone commenting on someone’s personal choice of wedding dress is pretty absurd.”
“I wish I could say I was surprised,” he continued. “But people love to ruin a beautiful moment.”
For her reception, Olivia chose several more looks, including a strapless chiffon dress with an empire waist.

That dress received high praise from fans and haters alike.

Later that night, she changed her clothes again for the after party. That time she opted for a fifties-style strapless bodysuit under a diaphanous short hoop skirt, which also had its share of detractors.
