Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed Marcus Rashford may still not undergo surgery for the shoulder injury that threatens to rule him out at the start of the season.

The 23-year-old suffered from the problem towards the end of the season with the Red Devils, but played on through the pain threshold for England at the European Championship.

Rashford had a scan on Tuesday and reports showed the damage was so severe that he required surgery.
