- It seems increasingly likely that Haaland will leave Borussia Dortmund this year
- Manchester United is one of the many elite clubs interested in him
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already started making his move to convince Erling Haaland to join him at Old Trafford in the summer.
The Borussia Dortmund forward is widely expected to leave the German club later this year, especially as their qualification for next season’s Champions League is questionable.
His potential availability has prompted the European elite to give chase and Solskjaer is reportedly using his ties to his countryman to convince him to move to Manchester’s red side. Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City also have a strong interest.

According to reports in Spain, Manchester United’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has started a move
Spanish publication AS say Solskjaer Haaland ‘keeps calling’ to sell the United project to him and convince him his future is at Old Trafford.
Solskjaer and Haaland teamed up when the United boss was in charge of Molde in Norway and he hopes they can join forces again in the Premier League.
Haaland has been in prolific scoring form for both club and country this season – so far he has scored 39 goals in just 36 appearances across all competitions.
Sportsmail reported earlier in March that Haaland has a £ 90 million buyout clause with Dortmund to be paid in one go.
With every possible move for Haaland, United should also soften their reluctance to work with his agent Mino Raiola. He has been problematic for United in recent months with his stance on the future of another of his clients in Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba.
Sportsmail has previously reported that United is thinking of working with Mino Raiola again
