Darius Rucker shocked fans when he fell on his face during his final concert.
The Hootie And The Blowfish frontman, 58, who recently revealed it’s time to forgive his compatriot Morgan Wallen, was performing in Charleston, South Carolina, over the weekend when the incident occurred.

Darius quickly stood up and joked, “I’m too old.”
Later during the performance, the talented star addressed the stumble.
“We’ve been doing this all summer,” he told the crowd. “I hadn’t fallen even once. But I worked my ass off in my hometown.”
Earlier this year, the frontman revealed that writing his memoirs helped him “deal with” the “traumas” of his father’s absence and his brother’s death.
The musician released his new book Life’s Too Short in May and offered a candid look at his personal struggles.

‘Even when I made the audiobook, there were some moments where I caught myself holding back tears. Reading those things that affected me so much, but I just pretended it wasn’t like that. It was very therapeutic for me. “It helped me,” he added.
‘My therapist got me a lot of work writing that book. “A lot of things came up that I wanted to deal with,” Darius said.
‘Because I hadn’t dealt with those traumas, I just let them go. And now I have to deal with them because I wrote that book and I think about them.’
Her relationship with Ricky also features heavily in the memoir, to the point that it “surprised” even Darius while the project was in progress.

‘I knew it affected me, because once I went to university, I never came home because of it. I just didn’t want to be around him,” Darius said.
‘I always said that if I wrote the book, I was going to tell the truth. And I told him the truth about him. That was another thing you have to deal with, that trauma. Watching your older brother with all this potential become that was difficult. “It was traumatic.”

“I struggle and thrash for I have no idea how long (10 minutes, 15) and then I hear a voice. Woody. I can’t see it, but I hear it. It’s not far away,” Darius recalled.
Woody grabbed him, but the current almost swept Darius away, and the singer began to hallucinate, seeing “a blinding explosion of white,” and also the deceased Carolyn.
Darius urged Woody to let him go, saying, “This is it,” but Woody refused and with Kirk’s help managed to “drag” him back to shore.
