Oklahoma Family Arrested After Son Allegedly Impregnates Intellectually Disabled Sister

Oklahoma authorities arrested a couple and their son following an investigation that revealed the son allegedly impregnated his intellectually disabled sister. The investigation began when the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) was alerted that an 18-year-old girl had given birth, but there was uncertainty about the identity of the baby’s father. A DNA test later confirmed a close family relationship between the baby’s parents.

The Village Police Department’s investigation found that the parents, Nathaniel Molden Sr. and Tameeka Molden, were aware of an inappropriate relationship between their daughter and her 19-year-old son, Nathaniel Molden Jr., but failed to take steps to protect her. All three family members have been arrested in connection with the case.

According News 9DHS first contacted police after the baby’s birth when they could not identify the father. Both Tameeka Molden and the teen mother initially told a DHS worker that the baby’s father was her boyfriend, but police found the situation suspicious. In a disturbing twist, the victim allegedly told investigators that her father was the baby’s father. Authorities ordered DNA tests to confirm biological relationship.

“We collected DNA from the male family members and it was confirmed through DNA testing at the OSBI that he matched the brother,” said the town’s Deputy Police Chief Matt Butcher, speaking with News 9. Police initially suspected Nathaniel Molden Sr. might be the father due to unusual search queries found on his phone, including how to corrupt a DNA test and whether the brothers share the same DNA.

According to online jail recordsCourt documents reveal that Nathaniel Molden Jr. admitted to having sexual contact with his sister two years before her birth. He also acknowledged that his parents caught them at that moment and punished them but did not intervene further.

Deputy Chief Butcher explained that the parents’ lack of action led to their arrest. “Part of the reason charges were filed against the parents was because there was no intervention to prevent actions toward this child,” he said. “At that time, she couldn’t take care of herself.”

Nathaniel Molden Sr. and Tameeka Molden were arrested on child neglect charges and have since posted bond. Her son, Nathaniel Molden Jr., faces a charge of incest and is being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center on $25,000 bail. The victim and her baby are now in DHS custody.
