A former Oklahoma cheerleading coach has been accused of forcing a 16-year-old student, who dated her own teenage daughter, into a prolonged sexual relationship that has been described as “manipulative and controlling”.
Jennifer Hawkins, 45, worked part-time at the Moore Public School District during the alleged relationship with the victim and has since been laid off, a district spokesperson told Fox News.
The relationship began in September 2017 and the victim has since graduated from school and told police he had been raped “numerous times,” and on January 27 sent a letter containing the allegations to district officials from a rehab center in california
Hawkins initially denied the allegations, but later “admitted that he made a mistake and began to cry and admitted to having a sexual relationship” with the student, read a probable affidavit obtained by the outlet.
Former Oklahoma cheerleading coach Jennifer Hawkins, 45, is accused of forcing a 16-year-old student into an extended sexual relationship.
The victim, now 21, claimed the 45-year-old woman had raped him numerous times in their Oklahoma home.
When asked how many times she and the victim had sex, Hawkins allegedly replied, “No idea,” which police said indicated “numerous times.”
During the relationship that lasted until 2022, Hawkins picked up the victim at lunch, drove him home, and the two had sex, legal and criminal reports.
The victim told police she estimated the couple had sex more than 300 times and that the couple met through Hawkins’ daughter, whom the victim dated for an unspecified time and knew from school.
It is unclear if the daughter and the victim were still involved when the relationship began.
While watching a football game at his home, Hawkins allegedly touched the victim’s private area and said that he would remember that football game for the rest of his life.
The victim showed police text messages between himself and Hawkins, who would get “mad” at the victim if she looked at other women on social media, according to the affidavit.
In the texts, he allegedly told Hawkins: ‘I want you in my life. I just don’t want a romantic relationship.

“Moore Public Schools was recently made aware of an allegation of inappropriate contact between an outside athletic trainer and a student that occurred in the past,” a school spokesperson said in an email to the outlet.
We immediately contacted the Oklahoma City Police Department and a report was filed. The coach was immediately relieved of his duties.
‘The safety of Moore Public Schools students and employees is our primary concern. MPS school officials will continue to assist law enforcement in their investigation of this matter.’
