OJ Simpson’s legal team is resorting to desperate measures to pay off the late NFL star’s staggering debts.
Simpson died in April at the age of 76 and owed the families of murder victims Ron Goldman and Nicole Brown more than $100 million.
And in an attempt to reduce the figure, his longtime attorney and executor of his estate, Malcolm LaVergne, revealed that he is putting up for auction a rather unique collection of memorabilia.
The former running back’s stash of pornography from his time behind bars at the Nevada State Prison will reportedly be up for grabs at auction, LaVergne said. TMZ.
Simpson allegedly created a collection of Penthouse, a men’s magazine featuring pornographic photographs of women, while serving his sentence for his 2008 armed robbery.
Following his parole in 2017, Simpson allegedly hid his edits because, according to LaVergne, he had access to free online pornography.

The former running back reportedly created a collection of Penthouse magazines.
LaVergne also revealed that she might auction off Simpson’s condoms.
Simpson’s former lawyer said he hopes to hold the auction in early 2025, but has not yet confirmed details.
Simpson was found liable in civil court for $33.5 million for the murders of Ron Goldman and his ex-wife Nicole Simpson in 1997, and the Goldman family has pursued the mounting debt ever since. The sum has now ballooned to $100 million with interest.
An attorney for Ron’s father, Fred, said earlier this year that he will “work” to collect everything he can from Simpson’s estate, even after Juice’s death.
The last legal filings Goldman lawyers made were in June 2022, when they claimed that Simpson still owed more than $96 million and had paid only $133,000 since 1997.
Since his 1997 sentencing for the 1994 murders, the Goldmans have garnished Simpson’s income and sued him several times to recover money he earned from television shows and his book, If I Did It.
In an interview with DailyMail.com earlier this year, debt collection lawyer David Cook described how he renewed the judgment in 2015, putting it at $57 million.
Two years later, when Simpson was released from a Nevada prison after serving nine years for a robbery and kidnapping conviction, he estimated the debt was “a little less than $70 million.”

Simpson was found liable in civil court for $33.5 million for the murders of Ron Goldman and his ex-wife Nicole Simpson in 1997.
And in March 2021, a Nevada garnishment case listed the “amount owed” by Simpson as “$75,164,425.74.”
Court documents from 1992 about his separation from his murdered wife Nicole said his net worth at the time was $10.8 million, with a monthly income of $55,000.
But according to documents filed by the Goldmans, he has only paid them $133,000 since obtaining the judgment against him.
Simpson avoided paying the Goldmans by filing for bankruptcy in Florida, and his annual NFL pension of between $125,000 and $300,000 was protected from debt collection claims.
He also had $42,000 a year in Social Security.
