Customers have noticed what they suspect is a “hidden meaning” in the Officeworks Australia logo.
The current design features the brand’s colors (red, white and blue) with the letters ‘O’ and ‘W’ stacked on top of each other and many buyers speculate that the logo is meant to resemble a person.
Buyers on Facebook and Twitter commented on the design, which was unveiled in 2021.
‘He’s a stick man with thick legs,’ one wrote, another added: ‘He looks like a person with arms.’
‘It’s a person, right? Head up with arms? You can’t stop watching it,” added a third.

Many shoppers on social media speculate that the logo looks like a figure of a person facing forward. A man on Twitter also compared it to the Squid Game logo.

Since then, the design has been implemented on the retailer’s shopping bags and store uniforms, as well as social media icons.
Regardless of the ‘meaning’, others were not satisfied with the design, saying it looks ‘cheap’.
‘Officeworks, if this is your new logo, you need to fire your brand manager. Was it bought on Fiverr?’ one man wrote on Twitter.
“I made the logo myself and ordered it from Officeworks for $9,” another quipped.

People have noticed that the negative space between the ‘T’ and the orange star creates a perfect arrow.
Jetstar has two logos; one with the full company name written with an orange star at the end and a shortened version with the word ‘Jet’ followed by the orange star.
The shortened version is usually seen on the tail of airline planes and hides the forward arrow that has gone unnoticed by many travelers.
Australians were shocked to find the secret symbol in the family logo and say they will never be able to “unsee” it.
