Barack Obama criticized Donald Trump for holding a rally

Barack Obama harshly criticized Donald Trump for holding a “racist, sexist and intolerant” event at Madison Square Garden and called on voters to reject the former president’s policies.

Obama was speaking at a Kamala Harris rally in Philadelphia on Monday night when he attacked Trump and called out speakers at his Sunday night event at New York’s largest venue.

“Man holds this big rally at Madison Square Garden,” Obama said, noting that warm-up speakers were “spewing the most racist, sexist, bigoted stereotypes.” One guy called Puerto Rico “a garbage island.”

‘These are Americans. They are people. And that’s the reason why this choice “We shouldn’t be close,” he continued.

‘It should be clear. Here’s a good rule: if someone doesn’t respect you, if someone doesn’t see you as fellow citizens with equal rights to opportunities. In the pursuit of happy American dreams, they should not be voted on. You shouldn’t expect them to improve your life.’

Obama has been a fierce critic of Trump while campaigning for Harris. He has criticized the former president for trying to end Obamacare, for failing to properly handle the COVID pandemic and for taking credit for his economy.

Obama called on people to “reject the politics” that Trump and his supporters presented Sunday night.

“Treat everyone with dignity and respect,” he told the roaring crowd. “Defend those who cannot defend themselves.”

Trump on Monday denied being a Nazi after many speakers at his rally used foul language and hurled racist insults at Harris.

Harris’ running mate Tim Walz compared the event to a Nazi rally.

‘I’m not a Nazi. “I’m the opposite of a Nazi,” Trump told thousands of supporters at Georgia Tech on Monday night.

But the Madison Square Garden event was full of controversial moments.

Trump’s childhood friend David Rem referred to Harris as “the Antichrist” and “the devil.” Businessman Grant Cardone told the crowd that Harris “and her pimps will destroy our country.”

‘She is the devil… She is the antichrist. At his rally last week, he said that followers of Jesus Christ are not welcome at his rallies,” Rem said.

And comedian Tony Hinchcliffe went viral after calling Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

‘I don’t know if you know this, but right now there is literally a floating island of garbage in the middle of the ocean. I think it’s called Puerto Rico,’ he said at the rally.

In another lewd comment, he added: ‘These Latinos love having babies too. I only know that. They do it. They do it. There is no way out. They don’t do that. They enter. Just like they did with our country.’

Many Republicans, including Trump, disavowed Hinchcliffe’s comments.

Hinchcliffe later said he was joking and noted that he is a comedian.

Obama was in Philadelphia to remind voters that the last day of early voting was Tuesday.

He was joined by Bruce Springsteen and John Legend, who performed before a crowd of 10,000.
