Obama claims Trump's behavior shows signs of serious health problems: 'You'd be worried about your grandpa'

Barack Obama questioned Donald Trump’s health at a Kamala Harris campaign event on Tuesday, telling voters they “would be worried if Grandpa acted like that.”

The former president repeatedly took aim at the Republican candidate, questioning his suitability for office, during a rally in Madison, Wisconsin.

Obama pointed to Trump’s town hall meeting with South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem last week, where the former president spent the final 40 minutes playing music and bobbing his head while standing on stage.

“You’d be worried if Grandpa acted like that,” Obama said.

You would call your brother, you would call your cousins. You say, have you noticed? But this is coming from someone who wants uncontrolled power. So in Wisconsin we don’t need to see what an older, crazier Donald Trump looks like without guardrails; “America is ready to turn the page.”

Trump, 78, will be the oldest US president ever elected if he wins the White House in November. He will take that honor away from 82-year-old President Joe Biden.

It’s an ironic twist.

Trump had repeatedly questioned Biden’s physical and mental fitness to be president when Biden was still the Democratic nominee. But after Biden’s disastrous debate performance against Trump in July, Biden dropped out of the race under pressure from party officials.

Kamala Harris replaced Biden and, at 60, is 18 years younger than the Republican candidate.

Harris has released medical records where her doctor described her as fit for office.

Trump has not released formal medical records, although Dr. Ronny Jackson, who treated him at the White House, released updates after Trump was shot and scratched in the ear at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign has said he is in “perfect and excellent health” to be president.

Still, questions arose after a town hall meeting in Pennsylvania last week, when Trump, after one person fainted, decided to stop answering questions.

‘Let’s not ask any more questions. Let’s listen to music. Let’s turn it into music. Who the hell wants to hear questions, right? said.

She spent the next 39 minutes swaying and jumping to the music, including show tunes and other favorites from her personal playlist.

Harris questioned Trump’s mental facilities and called him “unstable.”

“I see his team at least saying he’s suffering from burnout,” Harris told reporters last week.

The Democratic candidate was citing a Politico report that said several interviews with Trump were in the works but did not take place because Trump is “exhausted.” A Trump campaign spokesperson told Politico that was “unequivocally false.”

Harris, however, seized on the report.

‘Look, being president of the United States is probably one of the hardest jobs in the world. So we really need to ask ourselves: If you’re tired of campaigning, are you fit to do the job? And I think it’s an open question and we need an answer,” Harris said.

The former president has declared himself healthy and fit to command.

“Obviously, I’m in the middle of a very big, very controversial fight that we’re leading,” he told CBS News.

‘I’ve had my health exams. I also took cognitive tests twice and got excellent grades, meaning a perfect score. I want to see her take a cognitive test because she couldn’t, because she wasn’t born smart.’

Trump also said he’s “gone 48 days without rest,” adding, “I’m not even tired, I’m really excited.”

Harris, however, continues to raise questions about his health. Just like his campaign surrogates.

Tim Walz was also at the rally with Obama. The duo was in the battleground state on the first day of early voting to remind people to go to the polls.

Walz also went after Trump savagely, mocking the former president for working at McDonalds.

The Democratic vice presidential candidate also took some digs at JD Vance and Elon Musk.

But Trump took the brunt of his attacks.

Walz focused on Trump working at a McDonalds in Pennsylvania on Sunday. Trump manned the fry stand before answering questions through the drive-thru window. The restaurant was closed to the public during the Republican candidate’s visit as a security measure.

Democrats criticized it as a “stunt.”

‘He went to a McDonald’s and dressed up like the drive-thru worker. They found him an apron in his size and put it on him,” Walz said.

“There is something not only crazy but cruel about a billionaire using people’s livelihoods as a political issue,” he added.

He also mocked Trump, saying he looked like Ronald McDonald.

“He looks a lot more like Ronald McDonald than the clown he actually is. And Ronald wears less makeup,” Walz said as the audience roared with applause.

He also accused Trump of pulling a “stunt,” claiming the restaurant wasn’t actually open.

‘That restaurant wasn’t even open. It was a trick, fake orders for fake customers. They even organized the tour. We know they won’t let you pass or drive by,” he said. ‘Everything about this guy is fake. Everything he does is false. The next thing he’ll tell you is that he’s a cop or a construction worker because he dances to the Village People.

And I’ll tell you one thing: five minutes he was at the fryer, I guarantee you, was the hardest that guy has ever worked in his life. And that’s no joke,” Walz said.

He then turned his fire on Musk, the owner of X and Tesla.

He pointed to Musk campaigning with Trump in Pennsylvania and said, “Elon was on that stage jumping around like an idiot.” That guy is literally the richest man in the world and he spends millions of dollars to help Donald Trump buy an election.
