‘Let me tell you what happened to me yesterday,’ Gallagher said talkSPORT.
‘When the third goal comes in, there is absolute chaos in the stadium.
‘Where we sit, Ruben Dias’ family is a couple of boxes up. I’m jumping like an idiot, passing my son like the Premier League trophy, everyone is lifting it.

“I turn around, Rubén Dias’s father hits me head-on, headbutts me, I’m on the floor, covered in blood.
‘I don’t watch the last two minutes, I have to be taken down by the St John ambulance to be stitched up.
I have stitches on my upper lip, two black eyes. As I walk down the hall, Pep comes running crying and we hug.
‘He says, ‘What’s with your face?’ And I said: ‘Go and stay with your players!’
‘If you saw me today, I look like I just came home from the eighties on Elland Road, I look like my head has been smashed. Is incredible.

Although the Citizens have not yet conquered the Champions League, since this season they have eliminated Real Madrid in the semifinals, which will face Liverpool in the final on Saturday.
