Oasis will release a new version of their debut album Definitely Maybe in a matter of days to mark 30 years since it first hit stores.

It’s a major comeback tour that was officially announced on Tuesday after days of speculation as warring brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher finally buried the hatchet.

The pair will be playing concerts in London, Cardiff, Manchester and Glasgow in 2025, sending fans into a frenzy.

The band’s debut studio album, Definitely Maybe, was released on 29 August 1994 and featured guest appearances by brothers Liam and Noel, Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs, Paul ‘Guigsy’ McGuigan and Tony McCarroll.

The 30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of Definitely Maybe will be released on 30 August and includes previously unreleased tracks from the original recording session at Monnow Valley Studios, as well as outtakes from the album’s definitive sessions at Sawmills Studios in Cornwall.

Music streaming platform Spotify has offered fans the chance to pre-save the album.

It will include previously unreleased versions of Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol and Rock ‘n’ Roll Star.

Newly mixed by Noel, it follows recently released tracks Columbia (Sawmills Outtake) and Up In The Sky (Monnow Valley Version).

Fans can also dive into new liner notes from Creation Records boss Alan McGee, who discovered the Britpop legends and offered to sign them at the time, and journalist Hamish MacBain.

The Definitely Maybe (30th Anniversary Deluxe Edition) album is now available for pre-order in limited edition Deluxe 4LP and Deluxe 2CD formats, plus exclusive colored vinyl: the blue and white marble 2LP inspired by the lyrics of Up In The Sky, and the pink and white marble 2LP inspired by the lyrics of Digsy’s Dinner.

It will also be available on a limited edition blue cassette and digital format. All formats include the 2014 remastered version of the album.

When it was first released in 1994, Definitely Maybe reached number one on the Official UK Albums Charts and became the fastest-selling debut album of all time at the time.

On Tuesday morning, Liam and Noel sensationally confirmed that Oasis, one of the biggest bands in British music history, have reunited for a mammoth tour of the UK and Ireland.

After weeks of mounting speculation about a comeback, the Manchester brothers have finally ended their 15-year feud to announce they will be performing together again, 34 years after their first concert.

Excitement reached fever pitch on Sunday after the pair shared the same video, written in Oasis style, teasing an announcement for Tuesday at 8am. The same poster appeared on giant screens as Liam finished his headlining set at Reading Festival on Sunday.

And this morning, the iconic Britpop band put all speculation to rest by confirming a series of non-televised concerts in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer.

The 14-show tour will run from July 4 to August 17, kicking off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium before the brothers fill Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin.

Despite speculation that Oasis will be on the Glastonbury 2025 bill, it is known that the band will not be performing at Worthy Farm. However, plans are afoot for Oasis to head to other continents outside of Europe later next year.

Announcing the Oasis Live 25 tour alongside the first photo of the brothers together in years, the legendary band said: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come and see it. It won’t be televised.”

The Oasis website crashed immediately after the announcement and fans went into a frenzy.

The reunion comes one day before the band split on August 28, 2009.

Tickets to see the Don’t Look Back In Anger hitmakers go on sale in the UK from 9am on August 31, while tickets in Dublin will be available from 8am on the same day.

Oasis fans have hailed it as “the ticket bloodbath of the century” and have vowed to “go to war” to get their hands on them.

Others have been outraged and believe it will be a complete ‘free sale’ as there don’t appear to be any pre-sale links and it’s just a big general sale.

The brothers are understood to have buried the hatchet during a late-night phone call to embark on a £50million reunion tour.
