The Chicago Bears have released some stunning AI-generated images of a new stadium that could be built on the city’s waterfront, but not all residents of The Windy City are impressed.

The NFL team shared the images Wednesday afternoon, before Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson held a news conference about the proposals.

According to FOX32 Chicago, the stadium will cost around $3.2 billion to build and the Bears will pay $2 billion themselves. It would house 65,000 people and is scheduled to open in 2028.

The stadium will not only host sporting events: it will also host music concerts and will be surrounded by 14 acres of green space and sports fields.

But when the proposals were unveiled on Wednesday, there was one that was echoed in reactions on social media: “What about parking?”
