A woman’s body was found inside an apartment as police launch an investigation into her death.
Police were called to the York Street unit complex in Nundah, in Brisbane’s north-east, about 4.30pm on Tuesday and made a shocking discovery.
Queensland Police detectives are currently on scene and officers have prepared the crime scene.
A woman’s body was found inside a Brisbane apartment on Tuesday afternoon as police carry out their investigations.
Forensic detectives were among dozens of officers in the two-story brick building conducting investigations.
Forensic officers were seen entering and leaving the apartment complex this afternoon.
A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed to WhatsNew2Day Australia that officers are at the scene, but declined to provide further details.
No arrests or charges have been filed.
Neighbor Emmanuel Kaldani was shocked by what happened and said that the area is usually very quiet.
“I moved in October, it’s a pretty quiet and friendly place, and everyone does their own thing,” he told mail.
Dozens of detectives, including forensic officers (pictured), were at the scene and officers set up a crime scene at the apartment.
