Revelers partied hard until Easter Monday morning as they arrived in town on the last night of the holiday weekend before returning to work on Tuesday.

Partiers will wake up with headaches this morning as they danced and drank the night away on Sunday.

Many were seen dressed for the occasion, with drunken revelers braving the cold weather across the UK.

Brits packed pubs, bars and clubs late into the night on Sunday as they made the most of the long weekend.

Revelers, some wearing Easter Bunny ears, were pictured descending on bars in Newcastle city center to celebrate the Easter weekend – and some struggled a bit when they were pictured passed out on the floor.

Spirits were high and some looked frayed as they celebrated their last night of partying before returning to work after the holiday weekend.

Some appeared to have had too much to drink when they were seen being lifted off the ground, arguing in the street or being scolded by police officers.

As clubbers partied well into the night, some partygoers were seen being taken through the streets to kebab shops and eventually home.

Last night marked the end of the long weekend nights out, with Brits also hitting the bars on Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

Brits made the most of the Easter Saturday sunshine in Leeds yesterday as they suited up for the infamous Otley Run.

Some were seen dressed up, while others wore skimpy outfits to hit the pub with their friends.

Easter bunnies, sailors and cricket boys were photographed tackling the mammoth 17-venue route.

Footage also shows some people falling to the ground while smiling during the mid-afternoon drinking session.

The historic pub crawl starts at the Woodies pub in Far Headingley and finishes at The Dry Dock, just outside the town centre.

Revelers also descended on the city Friday night as the four-day weekend began.

Some wore elaborate hockey suits, others enjoyed the occasion as cheerleaders, aliens and even supervillains.

Brits didn’t let the good weather get in the way of their nights out, with heavy rain forecast for southern England today amid a long wet Easter weekend.

No weather warnings have yet been issued for Monday, however there are 10 flood warnings (meaning flooding is expected) and 112 flood alerts across England.

The latest flood warning, issued overnight by the Environment Agency, is for the River Brue in Somerset.

Roads at risk include those through Catsham, Cowbridge and West Lydford, and the B3151 Glastonbury to Meare Road.

Properties in Dyehouse Lane, Glastonbury, are at risk from the Glastonbury Millstream overflowing, with the river expected to overflow at Baltonsborough.

Although most of the rainfall has disappeared from the area, the River Brue is expected to remain high until Monday afternoon.

Heavy rain flooded southern England and parts of Wales on Sunday night, with the Met Office forecasting further heavy rain would develop in the south throughout Monday.
