Australians have been left in hysterics by a video of a police officer falling off his bike while on bike patrol up a steep hill.

New South Wales police officers were pedaling down a grassy slope in Sydney when a man began to lose his balance and stumbled.

The unfortunate fall caused a domino effect, forcing the other officers to quickly change direction to avoid falling off their own bikes.

The video was shared on the popular BrownCardigan Instagram account with the caption ‘Police Academy: Straya. To protect and stack’.

‘How many police officers does it take to ride a bike up a hill…?’ one person commented.

“God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers,” wrote another.

“This reminds me of extreme mountain biking, except it’s not extreme and there are no mountains and it’s just cops rolling down a gentle green slope,” joked a third.

“Obviously, bike policing these days is an uphill battle,” a fourth agreed.
