The police cannot locate a man who escaped from a prison in Nueva Gales del Sur at dawn on Wednesday and he continues to flee today.

David Johnson, 44, escaped a minimum security correctional installation in South Nowra, 173 km south of Sydney.

Johnson was last seen on the link road around 7.45 am and the police are requesting information to help him find him.

It is described as white, about 185 cm (6’1 “) high, with a medium construction, brown hair, blue eyes and a knob style beard.

When he was last seen, he wore a black bomber jacket, high visibility shirt and black tracks.
