Human remains have been found at a property in Bungonia, south of Sydney, amid the search for the bodies of missing TV presenter Jesse Baird and her flight attendant boyfriend Luke Davies.

Beau Lamarre-Condon, a senior constable with the New South Wales Police, allegedly shot the couple on Baird’s terrace in Paddington, in Sydney’s inner suburbs, last Monday.

Lamarre-Condon allegedly shot the couple with his police Glock pistol.

He turned himself in to police on Thursday and was charged with two counts of murder on Friday, but he refused to tell detectives where the bodies were.

Investigators had been searching a remote property in Bungonia earlier this week, including several dams, but were unable to find the bodies.

The remains were discovered on Tuesday, after police established a second crime scene elsewhere in Bungonia.

Lamarre-Condon is said to have driven to the area last Wednesday in a van rented from an acquaintance and purchased an angle controller and a lock along the way.

He allegedly walked through a locked gate to access a private driveway and left the acquaintance for 30 minutes while he allegedly disposed of the bodies.

He then returned to Sydney, but police alleged he bought weights at 11pm before returning to Bungonia again, where they allege he may have moved the bodies to a new location.

The van apparently left the Bungonia area around 4:30 a.m. Thursday in a possible attempt to move the bodies to a new location, according to police.
