Tom Burgess and his wife Tahlia Giumelli welcomed their third child.
The model and the English rugby player shared the good news on Instagram this weekend, introducing their little one and revealing his surprising birth weight.
“Alfie Mark Burgess was born 8/8/24 at 4:04pm He’s built like a Burgess, weighs 4kg and is 54cm long,” Tahlia, 30, wrote alongside pictures of the little one.
She added: “Our sweet little boy, the perfect addition to our family.”
Tahlia said Tom, 31, had helped deliver the baby before heading out to the Rabbitohs to play football.
“Tom put on the gloves to deliver our little boy and then went from midwife’s assistant to soccer player and arrived in time to run out onto the field and play with his team,” she wrote alongside a video of the newborn.
In a third post, Tahlia explained that Alfie is a “family name” and added: “His two older sisters already adore and spoil him.”
“Brought into the world with the help of Dad, our amazing obstetrician and midwives, we are incredibly grateful to them for allowing Tom to be a part of this beautiful moment,” she said.

The couple already have two older children, daughters Sophie, four, and Elodie, three.
They tied the knot in a stunning star-studded ceremony at a waterfront park in Watsons Bay, Sydney, in 2022.
In April 2017, it was revealed that the footballer had been dating the stunning model for six months.
In August 2019, they announced the arrival of their first child, a girl named Sophie Heather.

Elsewhere, Tahlia explained that Tom, 31, assisted with the birth before heading out onto the field to play football for the Rabbitohs.
The couple announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve 2019, after three years of dating.
Tahlia announced her second pregnancy in August 2020, posting a photo on Instagram of herself showing off her baby bump.
In November 2020, they welcomed their second daughter, Elodie, at just 36 weeks pregnant, announcing the birth on Instagram.
In July 2020, Tom and Tahlia announced that they had to postpone their wedding due to Covid-19 restrictions.
At the time, Tahlia wrote on Instagram: ‘After almost two years of planning, Tom and I have had to make the sad decision to postpone and change the venue of our wedding completely.
Tahlia had documented her pregnancy on Instagram.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2022, already have two older children, daughters Sophie, four, and Elodie, three.
‘With another wave of Covid hitting NSW, our priority is and always will be the safety of our family and friends.
“I have no doubt that when it happens it will be just as wonderful. I feel so sorry for all the brides who have had to do the same. But right now a wedding in I just didn’t seem like a number one priority.”
The couple were again forced to postpone their nuptials and abandoned their most recent set of wedding plans in December of that year after Tom contracted Covid-19 while on holiday in Byron Bay.
They finally got married in January 2022.
