That came even after Campbell-Gillard had enjoyed an excellent season for the Eels engine room, appearing in 24 games and being crowned Player of the Year.
While he was linked with a move to join St George Illawarra, he instead signed a three-year deal to join the Gold Coast Titans earlier this year.
It comes as the Queensland Titans have been working to develop their squad after falling to 14th in the NRL standings last season.
In August 2021, the soccer star’s girlfriend, Alira, shared with her followers on social media that the couple was expecting their first child.
The news came just four months after the happy couple revealed they were engaged.
She later shared a photo flaunting a stunning diamond as the couple enjoyed dinner at The Restaurant Pendolino in Sydney.
The brunette beauty captioned her post: “My person…for life,” along with a commitment emoji.
The couple welcomed their second child in 2023.
