Now an FBI member is in trouble for vile posts about the attempted assassination of Trump

An FBI employee has been charged with posting a vile message expressing regret that Donald Trump was not killed in an assassination attempt on Saturday.

Jenna Howell, who reportedly works in the FBI’s identity investigation department, posted an image of the Grim Reaper trying to pull a Trump doll out of a claw machine, according to The federalist.

The caption read: “Awww so close.”

Howell tagged a friend and added: ‘Memes… memes are gold.

The FBI employee also shared a meme that appears to criticize those who denounce political violence.

The meme read: ‘You Second Amendment loving, gun carrying rednecks better sit down and keep quiet unless you’re going to change your mind about gun control.

Former FBI analyst Chris Toompas told The Federalist that he worked at the agency with Howell and that she used to be part of the NICS Firearms Background Check Unit.

Howell appears to have deleted his social media accounts.

DailyMail.com has contacted the Department of Justice for comment on this story.

In the wake of the failed assassination attempt on Trump, Jack Black has also been accused of being obnoxious after his bandmate made a joke about the shooting on stage.

The actor’s comedy band Tenacious D was on stage in Sydney, Australia, on Sunday when Black brought out a birthday cake for his bandmate Kyle Gass and asked him to make a wish.

Gass, 64, responded: “Don’t miss Trump next time.”

On Monday, investigators were searching for any clues as to what might have driven 20-year-old Thomas Matthew Crooks to carry out the shocking attack.

The FBI said it was investigating it as a possible act of domestic terrorism, but the lack of a clear ideological motive on the part of the man shot dead by the Secret Service has led to conspiracy theories flourishing.

The FBI said it believes Crooks, who had bomb-making materials in the car he drove to the rally, acted alone.

Investigators have found no threatening comments on social media accounts or ideological positions that could help explain what led him to attack Trump.
