Novak Djokovic looked in good spirits when he took to the Wimbledon practice courts this lunch, just 19 days after undergoing surgery on his right knee.

The seven-time Wimbledon champion practiced with Argentine Federico Coria and seemed to move freely. However, Djokovic was wearing a joint support on his right knee, which is why he tore his medial meniscus.

Earlier, the Serb was put through his paces in the warm-up area, with Djokovic’s backroom staff supervising footwork drills to test his knee.

It was there that he also ran into current champion Carlos Alcaraz, who practiced this morning, and the two shook hands before sharing a laugh.

Djokovic is yet to confirm whether he will participate in this year’s Championships, which begin next week.

The tournament organizers will stand by everything their seven-time champion does given that Rafa Nadal has already confirmed that he will not play while Andy Murray’s participation remains in doubt.

Two-time champion Murray underwent back surgery on Saturday and is now in a race against time to be ready.
