Novak Djokovic: Australian Federal Court Reveals WHY Serbian Tennis Star Was Deported
Australian judges reveal WHY they expelled Novak Djokovic arguing it was clear tennis superstar refused to be vaccinated and could encourage anti-vax sentiment
Australia’s federal court has revealed the judges’ reasoning for Novak Djokovic’s deportation, siding with immigration minister Alex Hawke on all grounds.
In a verdict handed down Thursday, the full court found it clearly open to Mr Hawke to discover that Djokovic had refused to be vaccinated.
That was even despite Djokovic citing the excuse that he could not be vaccinated because he contracted Covid in December.
The court also ruled that Secretary of State Alex Hawke was rightly concerned about Djokovic’s stance on vaccines “which could encourage gatherings and protests that could lead to increased community transmission.”
