The body of a young woman was found dead inside a unit in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.
Emergency services were called to the unit on Hardy Street in North Bondi, where police discovered the 19-year-old woman’s body at around 9.20am.
Despite the work of the paramedics, they were unable to revive her.
NSW Police subsequently arrested a 32-year-old man at the scene.
He was wanted on an outstanding warrant, but has not been charged with any crime and is assisting police with their investigation.
