A teenager who was reportedly filmed jumping over the counter of a busy McDonald’s and terrorizing staff called the footage “embarrassing.”
Nooria Halake, 19, stood before Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday charged with disorderly conduct, property damage and aggravated assault.
She allegedly caused a scene at the fast food restaurant on Hindley Street, in Adelaide’s CBD, on December 29, throwing food around and harassing staff.

Footage from the incident reportedly shows Ms. Halake stumbling across the service counter and helping herself to food while shouting swear words at staff members.
Leaving court on Friday, Ms Halake was asked if she had seen the footage which has since gone viral.
“Yes, I have… embarrassing, it’s embarrassing,” she replied, The advertiser reported.
Customers at the time of the incident were able to watch in shock as Ms. Halake reportedly shouted obscenities and carelessly tossed a bag full of food.
She then reportedly grabbed a burger box and shoved it with food, before grabbing a drink from the fridge as staff members chased her around the store.

“I’ll beat you up and I’m leaving,” Ms. Halake is said to have told an employee.
Moments later, the police arrived to arrest the woman behind the counter.
During Friday’s court hearing, Ms Halake’s attorney, David Moen, asked for his client’s case to be adjourned.
He said he has not yet received a copy of the allegations or the court file, nor instructions from Mr Halake.
Ms Halake remains free on bail and will appear in court again in May.
