Noomi Rapace sat front row next to Juliette Binoche at the Alexander McQueen Fashion Week show in Paris on Saturday night.

Swedish actress Noomi, 44, dressed up goth for the occasion in a sleek black leather minidress that featured dramatic shoulder pads and oversized sleeves.

She finished the look with a quirky metal choker and slipped on a pair of chunky ankle boots.

Meanwhile, Oscar winner Juliette, 59, opted for an elegant cream suit which she layered over a white satin shirt.

The French stunner accentuated her age-defying features with glamorous makeup and wore her brunette locks in loose waves.

Noomi’s new space series for Apple TV+, Constellation, is so sinister that even its showrunner would politely decline an invitation to take an intergalactic trip.

Created and written by Peter Harness, the eight-part psychological thriller follows astronaut Jo, played by Noomi, who returns to Earth after a space disaster, only to discover key pieces of her life are missing.

The action-packed series explores the dark edges of human psychology and follows one woman’s quest to expose the truth about the hidden history of space travel in an attempt to regain everything she has lost.

Speaking exclusively to DailyMail.com, Peter revealed the story that inspired the plot, while admitting that he is so afraid of outer space that he would only consider jumping aboard a rocket if his days were numbered.

“One time I was on vacation in a cabin in the Swedish forest and, as night fell, we heard a girl calling for her mother in the forest,” he said of how he was inspired to create the plot.

“It was very creepy and a little strange, and we didn’t know where it came from. And we never knew where it came from.

“But a couple of nights in a row we heard this sound and I always thought I had to write something about this girl lost in the forest in Sweden.

“And then when they asked me if I would like to write something about astronauts and what it’s like for them to return to Earth, I wanted to do something about how challenging that is.

‘I have this mother trapped there in space, desperately trying to reach her daughter. And for some reason, that daughter was the girl who got lost in the woods… and I had to write as a show to get them back.’

Oppenheimer actor James D’Arcy plays Jo’s husband Magnus, who desperately tries to make sense of his wife’s altered mental state following her return to Earth.

James admitted he was blown away after reading the entire script in one sitting, and hinted that audiences will be hooked.

“When I first read the script, I read all eight episodes in one day and when I got to the end, my head exploded,” he told DailyMail.com.

“I realized that I had just read something really unique, that defies description: it’s science fiction, but it’s a thriller, but it’s a conspiracy drama, but it’s also family-friendly.

‘What I loved was that, even with this huge epic scope, at the center was this deep meditation on the nature of being a human being and dealing with reality.

“I felt really resonant with that, particularly since the pandemic, where reality feels very unwelded.

“Peter Harness, who I think might be a genius, has written this series that addresses all of these big questions, but does it in the most entertaining way.”
